Arrival
The arrival is possible either from Zambia (Livingstone), Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) or at Kasane or Maun airport in Botswana. You will meet our guide with staff there, and drive around the town to buy your personal belongings you haven’t brought with from home. After that we’ll start our way to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR).
Day 1,2,3 - Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Located in the heart of Botswana, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the largest and most remote game reserve in the whole of Southern Africa. You will experience the ultimate adventure nature drive through the Kalahari, see the unique birds of the desert, and look for the black maned lions. In CKGR you will stay for 3 nights, enjoying 4 nature drives in total, then drive to Makgadikgadi.
Day 4,5 - Makgadikgadi
In Makgadikgadi salt pans, the remnant of an enormous prehistoric lake, you will overnight in the pan under stars, experience close meerkats encounters and watch plenty of another wildlife. Activities you will enjoy: meerkats and salt pans, 2 nature drives.
Day 6,7,8 - Okavango delta
A maze of channels and lagoons sustain a profusion of wildlife of this area. You are going to explore the constantly shifting marsh by mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, to observe wildlife at eye level. You will look out for migratory birds and the rare ones like the endangerd Pel's fishing owl, as well sa water adapted antelopes like sitatunga, which is endemic to the Okavango delta, and the red lecwe, browsing in the grades. You’ll experience mokoro, boat cruise and 3 nature drives.
Day 9,10 - Moremi game reserve
In the renowned Moremi game reserve, you‘ll stay at an exclusive private camp at the Mboma island, the third largest dry area in this region of the Okavango delta, surrounded by grasslands that attract many spectacular viewing of the sparkling delta water, search for elephants, lions, zebras and giraffe's on the flood plains. You’ll experience 3 nature drives in Moremi.
Day 11,12 – Savuti
You will drive to Savuti to enjoy the historic rock paitings and predator diversity of Savuti at Savuti marsh. The arrival is in the afternoon, you will refresh and head out for an afternoon nature drive to the Bushman rock paitings. You’ll conduct 3 nature safari drives in Savuti before making your way to Chobe, on the following day.
Day 13,14 - Chobe national park, Serondela river front
Botswana’s Chobe national park is famous for it's enormous elephant herds. You will enjoy a boat cruise down the Chobe river, look also for hippos, crocodile and water birds, enjoying 4 activities in total (3 nature drives with 1 boat cruise for the 2 nights stay along the Chobe river front).
Day 15 – End of safari
You are going to enjoy full English breakfast and then depart to the target airport, which can be either in Zambia (Livingstone), Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), or Botswana (Maun or Kasane airport), to connect with either air Botswana, SA airlink or other flight connection, or your following program in Africa.
